We have two cabins in a wooded parkland area on our coastal property in St Catherine's, Argyll.These are booked up months in advance for self-catering couples. We allow pets (one pup per cabin) as long as dogs are on leads outside, as we have plentiful wildlife all around the property, plus our domestic lavender Guinea fowl flock.We are situated at the end of a private road, on the point of the shoreline of Loch Fyne. Guests go swimming, kayaking, bicycling, and Munro climbing. We get super-active couples, and guests can unwind by the fire pit.There are many things to do and see locally, plus great restaurants in Inveraray and beyond. There's even an excellent brewery, Fyne Ales, which guests can walk to (good yomp but worth it!).We chose these cabins as they oozed quality and style when we first saw them.The guests' reaction on arrival says it all - cute, wow, want one!The high ceiling gives a massive feel of space in an otherwise cosy-sized room. Elfin kitchens work brilliantly in the extension. A covered porch allows for a nice sitting area. We've left the beautiful wood unpainted inside, as it's gorgeous. It stays super warm even in snowy winters! It's worth getting the insulation in. Logspan is a joy to do business with. From the get-go, we found the entire team professional, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The construction team are so talented - getting these cabins looking this dazzling is no mean feat, and they worked flat out.After-sales service is exemplary. I'd go as far as to say that Logspan is a friend and part of our business structure. We put the first cabin up for August last year, and its popularity got us to put the second one up this Spring.Bookings are steady and year-round. We've had repeat bookings, a marriage proposal (she said yes!), and honeymooners who extended their stay as they loved it so much here.Everyone is complimentary about the cabins. We didn't skimp on furnishings, so they are luxurious yet quirky and fun to stay in! In 2019 Manorview Hotels were researching lodge options for a new development planned at Cornhill Castle near Biggar, South West Scotland. Primarily a wedding venue, Cornhill Castle also attracted leisure customers seeking a relaxed stay and required additional accommodation to meet demands.There were a strong number of options for the lodges but the team was seeking something special with the charm to complement the rural setting. One of the directors first became aware of the Finman Retreat at a trade show and knew it would be a fantastic fit for Cornhill Castle. This culminated in June 2021 with 7 lodges being constructed within Cornhill Castle grounds.In Summer 2022 planning was approved for 10 new lodges at another site – Bowfield Hotel & Spa near Glasgow. The Finman Retreat was again considered an excellent fit. At Bowfield the guest experience was different so the specification was changed to primarily accommodate families which is an important market for Bowfield.The ability for Logspan to bespoke design lodges to required specifications was a major reason for the choice. Absolutely Outstanding Service. The team at logspan can't be rated highly enough, their efforts, attention to detail and commitment were outstanding from day one. We were given excellent advice and assistance by Lucy to help us make a decision (without ever feeling any pressure to buy), We opted for a 11m square BBQ Hut with a bar extension. We couldn't be happier with it and it has certainly transformed the bottom of our garden. The installation team worked through some terrible conditions on the day but never stopped. The quality of the prep work and final installation was excellent. Any communication with the team have been first class.

Helpful and friendly staff received very good service from all that I spoke to which started at the caravan exhibition and they phoned me back to arrange the work to be completed. The work was arranged and carried out as agreed on the date agreed.

From initial enquiries to completion of the BBQ hut the sales staff, site survey and construction team where both very professional and made us feel like we where part of the project. Nothing was too much trouble the advice given was backed up by years of experience and explained to us. We are now very satisfied owners and the envy of our neighbors.

From our first visit to Logspan to the completed cabin we have had a wonderful experience. Nothing has been too much trouble for any of the guys, from the office to the builders who worked so hard and we found it unbelievable that it went up in one day. Since the build, we have asked for advice on a couple of occasions and it has been freely given and sound. Thank you all.
